Not only do they increase the production of collagen and elastin, but also exhibit strong inhibitory activity against collagenosis and elastase - enzymes associated with the degradation of collagen and elastin. Thus, they protect the skin against loss of firmness and premature wrinkles, stimulate and normalize the renewal process of calloused and sun-damaged epidermis. The skin becomes smooth and elastic. They enhance the protective functions of the epidermis and reduce the transepidermal water loss (TEWL). A well-hydrated epidermis becomes smooth, firm, elastic and elastic

Carotenoids counteract free radicals that attack the lipid components of sebum, producing products that irritate the skin and cause inflammatory reactions (e.g. acne). They normalize the work of the sebaceous glands, the skin becomes less oily and the tendency to form blackheads and pimples is reduced. They clean the outlets of the hair follicles, the skin pores are narrowed. They regulate and accelerate the process of exfoliation (exfoliation) of the epidermis, thus preventing acne lesions.
